Lightbulb Another Dog!!!!!!!!!

we've all decided we might be getting another dog! It's so Flash (our golden retriever puppy) has someone to keep him company when we're out. We're thinking about Japanese Spitz

How old is flash? Two puppies are ALOT of work and can be alot harder to train. Are you sure you have the time for that?

Owned by 26 chins, 7 cats, 2 dogs, and 7 aquariums

Japanese Spitz are kinda agressive, thats what I've always been told. also they are only like 12 inches, why not get a dog that can play rough with your golden with out getting hurt? you could always adopt one from the humane society then it would already be house trained and every thing... puppies are a lot of work

I can't imagine having two puppies at once. We waited until Rocky was over a year old and trained before getting our second dog. I think you should either wait or adopt an adult dog. Congrats, though.

I highly advise against two puppies at once for a variety of reasons.

1. To keep one dog company is just not a good reason.
2. The divided attention can often cause friction among puppies.
3. It is A LOT of work, more than you probably realize.
4. You need time to get used to the puppy you have, and him time to adjust to you.

Please think long and hard about this

I think that was a very responsible decision you made. I know how hard it is to resist them when they look so darn cute!
