buying a plane ticket for 2 gogs???

we are going to be flying home in about 6 months to visit. there was an airline that allowed you to buy a seat for your dog. however i cant remember the airline. just that you can take your dog in the cabin with you. any ideas? thanx.

oh yeah, they are large dogs, 65 lbs.

all the planes I know of let you bring your dog in the cabin if its a small dog and remains on your lap, other wise they must ride in cargo...but things could have changed, but I have never heard of an airline letting a big dog into the cabin...I hope you find what you are looking for

RE: buying a plane ticket for 2 gogs???

If you find out, I'd love to know!

I brought home a puppy from Florida about 3 years ago on Delta. In order to have him in the cabin, he had to be in a carrying case that fit under the seat. He had to stay under the seat during take-off and landing, but I could have him in my lap during the flight.

I wasn't allowed to open the case, though. I actually unzipped it and was petting him when the flight attendant said I needed to keep it zipped. She said it was because other passengers might have allergies. (Although the sides of the case were mesh, so i don't really see the logic.)

I had to pay $50 to allow him on the flight.
