Does your dog chew on it's paws?

My dog does this, I am wondering if any one else's dog does.

My dog nibbles her paws in the summer months, it's a kind of allergy itch she gets. Not in the winter though.

My dog Katie licked her paws a lot in the summer. I think it had a lot to do with her skin drying out and itching.

Mine is half westie, so he has a skin problem. Just make sure your pooch doesn't start making them red or bleed.

My dog does coz he won't let anyone clip his nails. They must be really annoying for him. Not even the vet can clip them.

You should check on your dog.

Dogs chew, scratch or bite their paws may be because of allergies. We don't want allergies on our little/big buddies, so I suggest you check on your dog and see if there's any. Allergies might cause some skin problems to dogs.

Another possibility is that your dog might have dry skin making it chapped and the dog feels irritated. Bacteria and yeast might also be a culprit.
