Dog Shoes

My sister and I take the dogs for a walk every night and since it has been cold they can get to limping about half way though because of the snow in their paws- not taking them is simply not an option and we tried putting special leather dog slippers on them, but it just turned into a hilarious night of awkward walking and some bizarre horse-kicking trying to get them off. Any ideas on how to help their cold little paws?

I think you can but some stuff you spray on their paws. But I may be way off on that.

Just try maybe keeping the boots on all the time even when your not on your walk and maybe they will get used to them. Good luck!

THanks! I will try keeping them on them all of the time, but they aren't going to like it
Never heard of a spray- let me know if you learn more about it. Thanks.

No problem they may not like it but they will eventually accept the fact that they will have boots!

What about something less bulky, like kids' socks? They would be a little more snug and might not bug the dogs as much. You could Gorilla-Glue some rubber stuff on the bottom (like that rubber liner you put under rugs or in cabinets). Just an idea.

Those little shoes are darling, I wonder if their dogs have taken to them or not....
Maybe I will try the socks idea or request a pair of dog shoes from Germany!
