Help a dog out,... would you?

I live in a townhouse and really don't have room for a dog, but I want to foster two until a home can be found for them.

I saw them at the PetSmart adoption on Saturday. They are two abandon dogs, part Begal I guess. They were found in the country. They look exactly alike and are so close and scared that it looks like a two headed dog. They won't leave the othres side. It's the most precious and pitiful site.

I'm weighing different options to get them out of the shelter. I was thinking of asking my friend who has a farm if she would keep them and I would buy the food and supplies for the pups and take care of the adoption process.

I'm just flat out thinking of asking my landlord if I can get a dog house and small fence and foster them until they find a home. I don't know how well this would fly though...

I'm racking my brain trying to figure out how to help these dogs, because I'm scared they might get put down. What can some other options be?

I'm on the border of Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri.

I talked to my landlady today and she gave me approval to keep them outside in a dog house. Now, I just have to get my husband to agree...
