Takes me 2 days.
1 reason I dont like to make him sit still for so long and 2nd reason the shaver runs out.
I find it hard to do under his neck as all his hair grows different ways.

I used to groom my poodle petrie, but then my arthritis got to bad and I was so afraid I would cut her, so now I take all of them to the groomers...

You just have to be REALLY careful grooming your own dogs. You have to stretch the skin or you'll cut them. Places to watch out for is the tuck up (the little flap of skin in front of the back legs), the armpits, the potty areas (of course) and the neck (you have to lift the head all the way to stretch the skin)... I also had the misfortune of finding out that the hock is another bad place... I wince everytime I do a dog's hock now...You baby is adorable.

Yes he has to lie down which stretches the skin for me.
I dont shave his legs or his tail or the armpits.
Thanx for the advice
