Leash Biting

Hi Guys, has anyone had issues with their dogs biting their leashes. Mine does this especially during training. It is normal? and how can I stop it?

I was thinking of buying extra toys just to keep him busy but am worried this may not work as expected. What should I do?

Pay attention.

First of all, how old is your dog? Puppies tend to bite anything frequently as they are still on the state of exploring and being playful.

Are you giving enough attention to your dog during the training especially when he/she is doing great? Maybe he/she just wants you to notice him/her. Praising is plays an important role in training a dog, if you're already giving her treats whenever she follows commands, try praising her more. Dogs love all the attention they can get from you.
