Funny you should say that because the trainer I took Mirra to said the exact same thing....and she breeds smooth coat fox terriers!

Here's my long winded story on how I became interested:

My mother was interested in the breed and I was doing some research for her. After what we read she decided Bull Terriers were not for her.....and I became intrigued and did more research. I found a puppy on the internet, immediately fell in love with her picture, had her shipped to me and discovered she was deaf on the drive home. I decided to keep her, taught her hand signs so we could communicate and we formed a really strong bond. I had her spayed just before she turned a year old, she went into cardiac arrest and died 10 minutes after the surgery was done.

I decided to get another Bully and found Mirra.......and because I'm a glutton for Bull Terrier punishment and was completely hooked on the breed.....along came Sydnee. I'm currently at my Bull Terrier limit. Two of these little terrors are more than enough for me! They can be quite a handful and they are super strong. Bull Terriers are not for the faint hearted. If you give them an inch they will take a mile. You definitely have to be firm with them or your house will be destroyed.

I wouldn't trade them for a million bucks though!

Rhonda, your girls are absolutely beautiful! I can see why you want to enter Sydnee in a dog show! She is amazing. Scarlette is such a beauty.

If you don't mind me asking, what kind of meds are you using for the ear infection? Molly is prone to ear infections and I refuse to give her antibiotics. I use Zymox Otic and it works wonders! Look it up on the internet and you will see testimonials from people. It is all natural and the dog doesn't build up an immunity to it.

Mirra is on Cephalexin 500mg twice a day, plus some drops that I don't know the name of because I have worn the writing off of the bottle.

Edited to say that the new vet at the office is still hung up on the idea that it's an allergy which really ticks me off. She tried to say the same thing about Mirra licking her feet...which isn't true.

This is the third ear infection/yeast infection since January. When she had the plate and screws put in her leg the orthopedic vet said that there's a slim chance her body could begin to reject it and that frequent infections are signs and symptoms of rejection.
