Love or Lunch?

As promised here is Biscuit re-acting to the mice. Sorry it's through a push bike wheel but it's the only way I could get a pic of her face. They were like this for at least 20 minutes. And even though Sophie (the mouse) is on the other side of the ball in this pic they were nose to nose for most of it so she wasn't scared at all.
So what's your thought guys is Biscuit is in love or is she just plain hungry??

and here's one more of her....I picked up the digicam and she actually sat up and posed....a first for biscuit!

She's thinking..."how do I get into that without getting in trouble?" She's so cute! I used to have one of the huge critter balls for my first chin (before I knew how dangerous they were for chinchillas) and Lilly would literally chase Kali and Orion around the house in hers! Orion especially was scared to death of the giant ball that tried to "get" him! I got rid of the ball when I learned of the hazards to chinchillas...I think they are great for mice and hammys though!

Thats too funny Mandie. Cute pics Carmen! I've been thinking about getting a mini-ball for my dwarf hammy. My kitties would definitely think "lunch" though if I put her in one!

LOL!!! Those pictures are great!!!

I have a ball also, for the hamsters and gerbils... Odie used to fear the ball... specially when Martina was running in it cause she runs fast! Now he just jumps on the bed and ignores them... now, it the guys are out, he's just fascinated with them. 8) I even have a few pictures of him interacting with my hamsters and sticking his head in the gerbil cage (and I have a picture of me holding a baby gerbil and him looking at it, but his look is definetively "lunch" in it!!!)

she'll give you kisses back and then gets excited and uses her teeth to add to the kissing! she's not attacking at all, it's all very loving but it hurts like **** and we call them love bites cause she is really just trying to be sweet!

LOL! Kali and Orion don't do that, but Orion's FATHER is FAMOUS for them! He gets so excited licking your face and he forgets he has teeth! I've had many scrapes on my nose from Merc's "love bites" He's just a little TOO loving sometimes

Jane there are lazy staffy's and there are active staffy's. The only way to know what you are going to get for sure is to get an adult. And yes they are easily trained but they are stubborn and will constantly push their limits to see how much they can get away with so you have to be on top of them all the time. Biscuit is really good and she knows what she is and isn't allowed to do but she'll test us to see if she can bend the rules. she goes about it in really cute ways too but we just have to correct her for it so she knows she isn't winning.
eg. She knows she is not allowed in the loungeroom...last sunday she'd start from the kitchen and crawled to the entrance from the dining room to the loungeroom. Then she sat up so she was on the border of the lounge/dining area...then drooped her head for a minute and stretched out so she was in the loungeroom. She knows the rules and I'd just point at her and she'd get up and move but then ten minutes later she was crawling again....little things like that!!!! We just laugh about them after she has finished testing us cause it's so cute to watch!

how cute!
i would definetely want an adult. i don't think i'll ever get another puppy again. penny was enough, thankyouverymuch. but are there a lot of staffies that are as lazy as biscuit? or just less-active ones?

i wanna kiss biscuit!!!
