Martin

So the two boys,Dylan and Presley went to another home today.Well I just got a new foster boy about an hour ago.

His name is Martin and he is about 8 yrs old.I knew him when he first came to Beagle Paws, when I was doing shifts at the office/kennel.Poor Martin has been at the rescue over 1 yr and sadly I am the 5th foster home! What a sin.He is a really good dog,I am suprised nobody has adopted him yet.He has been in and out of foster homes and the office/kennel now forever! Poor guy.I really like this dog and the first time I met him, totally fell for him...so I am glad I get to foster him for abit...

Anyway here is Martin.

The only reason he has been going from foster to foster,is because people don't wanna keep him too long for whatever reason.Well the last foster home had 3 cats and he hates cats apparently,so she had to give him up and so here he is.

Dogs have been in the same foster home as long as a year or more...so they are normally not bumped from home to home like that.It all depends on the foster families. He was in one foster home for over 4 months I think and he seemed to really bond with them, but they moved or something and he was returned and then put somewhere else.

I really like him,so I don't mind if he stays here for awhile. But if he's here more then 6 months,I may have to adopt him myself! Hehehe...he is way too sweet and a really good dog and it's a sin that he gets moved so much.I am truly suprised he is not adopted. He has no aggressive or behaviour issues,is great with dogs and kids (not cats tho),housetrained,quiet...I really don't understand, except maybe because he is black and about 8 yrs.
