My dog has a tumor

We took our 4 year old St. Bernard, Kodiak, into the vet early last week for a limp that had not been improving over about two weeks. The xray showed some unusual bone density, so we got it biopsied. The vet is not completely certain if its an osteosarcoma or a fibrosarcoma. Should we spend more time and money on testing, or should we go straight to treatment?

We talk to the oncologist this week. And I keep telling myself that Kodiak won't mind if he only has three feet.

if your vet is unsure after the current tests already taken, I would get a second opnion, but thats just me, You should do more tests other wise that way he/she cant properly treat for the right thing. they cant treat unless they know what exactly it is,

Poor dog, since you know what could be his sickness, look for a vet expert with that ill and see his recommendations for tests and treatments.

Not of the mouth. On one of his forelegs. I now have a three-legged dog. He's adapting well.
