congrats on your new addition.

When she wants to chew on you, scold her lightly and then give her a chew toy she can bite on.

Congrats on the new doggie! I have a Chihuahua myself.

When he bites, tell him sternly "No" and then ignore him. After he's been good for a minute, give him something good to chew on (toy, bone, etc). Praise him when he chews/bites on his toys and bones. Remember, you're in charge and you need to be the alpha dog. Biting hard is not an acceptable behavior.

Good luck!

I have 3 chihuahuas and they all went through the biting thing we gave them chew bones but not the rubber ones we would hold it; when they started to chew on us we would give them the chew toy instead. It seemed to work.

start putting your thumb on his/her toung when they bite, they hate that! It always worked for me. Oh ya, and a good tap on the nose works well too.
