Unhappy please don't let this be bad

Hi everyone,

Belle has been doing great with us, but just a couple of days ago she had diahrea. About 2 days later, she had it again, but nothing since then.

Just a couple hours ago, she vomitted two times. We called the vet, and she said that it could be due to some chnage in her life or because of the hot weather (it is really hot where we live, even inside the house).

We're really really worried about her, and are taking her to the vet on Wednesday. I am really hoping that it has to do with the weather, and nothing WORST. I don't even want to think about that though.

Are there any other possibilities, besides Parvo, that result in vomitting and some diahrea?

How old is she? How many sets of vaccines has she had? Any diet change recently? How's her activity level? Any access to toxins?

Parvo is first suspect if she's young, others are intestinal parasites or just general stress GI upset, as mentioned. With hold food and water tonight. Start her on some small amounts of water in the morning. If she keeps that down, offer some bland food such as boiled chicken and rice or chicken baby food and rice.

If she vomits in the morning when you give her water or later with food, have her appointment moved up sooner or take her to an ER vet. Vomiting combined with diarrhea can quickly dehydrate a dog and she should be seen if she continues to vomit or otherwise gets worse.
