Angry Poo!

I went down to the pet warehouse and got a 7.5 kg of James Well Beloved puppy food, my first bag. I'm going to start switching now. When I asked the owner of the shop what the difference was between puppy and junior, she said that she didn't know, and junior was probably just a stepping stone between puppy and adult. She said use junior after about 12 months. So, I carry it home (no car), and it's bloody well heavy! And now, 5 minutes after they closed, I read the feeding guidelines for the age of my dog, and it say '6 months + - Switch to Junior'. Bugger. So, my question is, will it hurt to keep him on puppy food for an extra month or so, or until this starts to run low and I buy my next batch, so I can get junior? Or do I HAVE to switch to junior now? Because they are closed until either Tuesday and Wednesday, and my old batch might not last that long. I have enough to do the switch, but not enough to carry on feeding him completely on it.

No it won't hurt to be on puppy food for a short time longer. What age is your dog, and what breed??
