puppy training help

i recently got a puppy, boxer, shepherd, and others mix. she is so hyper and loves to bite, too much. she doesn't know how to play without going overboard. i know puppies are hyper, but she is almost too hyper.

When she bites you yelp really loud, like a dog would if you were to accidently step on their toes or something. My puppy is a play biter and I yelp and she immediately stops and looks embarrassed.

When she gets too hyper, stop playing and walk away and ignore her. If you continue to play with her when she gets rough she is assuming that it's ok and will continue to play rough. Walking away and ignoring her will send the message that play time stops when it gets too rough.
