Science proves Oxytocin hormone bonds people and dogs, like human mother and infant

Yesterday I read about a new study published in the journal of Science that when humans and dogs gaze into each other’s eyes, both experience increased levels of the “love hormone” oxytocin, which is the same hormone that bonds human mothers and their babies.

When my dog and I look into each other's eyes, I always felt a connection -- like looking into his soul. It's very cool that there's now scientific proof of bonding with our pets.

You can read the article at the blog petshavesouls dot com. Its the sixth article from the top.

This is absolutely true even without the explanation of science. But, that's really an interesting fact.
