Slugs

Are slugs bad for puppies?
Every time we go out she seems to find a slug and start chewing on it.
Prising it out of her jaws and having it squelch in my fingers is not nice

The skin excretions of many species of slugs actually works like an anesthetic, while I'm not aware of them being particularly toxic, I still wouldn't think they'd be very good for your dog eat. Some people believe that when dogs eat random things in the yard, they do it for a reason... maybe your puppy is teething?

Well she has many toys and bones to eat.
I think she just likes the flavour of them
