Symptom question and need a good vet in Phoenix

Hi everyone....just recently finished a move from Montana to Arizona and runing into some health issues with our elderly Bull Terrier/Staffie cross.
Shar is somewhere between 16-19 years old (unable to pin it down any better because she's a shelter rescue) and has a history of pancreitis (sp? inflammation of the pancreas). While I've been out of town, the hubby is reporting visible weight loss, loss of appetite, vomiting and diarrhea, and as if that weren't enough, she is refusing water. She is also lethargic, not even wanting to get off the futon when he gets out her harness for a walk. She is also not wanting to jump up onto the bed or couches. All very unlike her.
She's at a vet as I type this, but it was just the nearest vet, because we just moved.
Any ideas what might be going on with her? I'm worried sick and feeling like a jerk because I'm not there.
And if anyone could recommend a good vet in Surprise/Phoenix Az I would greatly appreciate it.

It is true that Pit Bulls grab and hold on. But what they most often grab and refuse to let go of is your heart, not your arm.

I'm so sorry about your dog. I don't really have any advice, but just wanted to say that I hope the vet figures it out, and it's something easy and fixable. Good luck and let us know.
