What is the best Dog Shampoo?

Since are Bichon is a rescue dog her coat was not taken care very well. I was wondering if anyone new of a good shampoo for getting rid of the stains on a white dog.

they have shampoo's for white dogs, but I really like the oatmeal based ones.

Same here. We use an oatmeal based one since the vet said they were really good for Cocker Spaniels.

I think the best kinds of shampoos are the soap free ones and the oatmeal ones which usually go hand in hand.

Just make sure if you get a whitening shampoo, they usually come in blue, and you have to make sure to use something else with it or it'll turn your dog blue....lol. What I would recommend is go to your nearest Petsmart, and get the Alotta Coloda Whitening shampoo located in the grooming salon. Also get an oatmeal shampoo (they're cheaper in the store). Go home, wet your dog, put on the oatmeal. Get a 20 oz. coke bottle or something and fill it with water and put some whitening shampoo in it and pour that on. Then rinse and you should be good to go..That's what I'd do anyway.

My mom found some very blue shampoo and gave it to me so we'll try it and see!!!
