Lab something or rather... Those ears are puzzling. I agree with mulder, perhaps some akita.

It looks like there may be some lab in there.
Maybe akita,shepherd or pit too.Maybe.
Sometimes with mutts like that,it is hard to tell. But she is beautiful.

how much does she weigh? is she full grown? she looks like a medium sized dog, around 30 pounds? if so then it's not akita or any of those big breeds. i would say possibly a lab mixed with a smaller dog that has somewhat of a stocky build like a corgi. that's what it reminds me of in the one picture. or possibly with a terrier. that's if she is smaller, and pretty hyper

Yeah. I definitely see Labrador there, but the ears, yeah.
Throws me off a bit.

Thanks, guys.

I should have added:
*She is 32 LBS and we *think* full-grown. If not, close. She's estimated at about a year or a little less.
*She has black on her tongue.

yeah, that's what i thought. she has that small stocky look. it definitely has a lab look to it. but i would go with a corgi or something, although the coat makes me think different. oh, possibly australian cattle dog. that could be it. and those who think pittbull, i think it would be american staffordshire terrier over a pit. i can't see a lab pit mix being only 30 pounds. but those two are my guesses. but whatever it is, it's hard to go wrong when there'a a lab involved. my family has a lab and i have yet to meet a mean one. and congrats if you rescued her. that's the way to go

sorry, i just noticed that you wrote she had a black tongue. then i would have to also go with chow lab mix. she is on the small side for being that mix which is why i didn't even think of a chow, but with the black tongue and thicker coat, that makes sense. ok, so those would be the three guesses to go along with a lab. but it is true with mixes, there could be four or five mixes in there. i wish you guys the best of luck, she looks like a good dog that is happy to be in your home
