I have a puppy now! It's "supposedly" an Australian Cattle Dog/Terrier mix, but I'm not too sure of the Aussie part. He doesn't have the blue or red coloring at all. Course it's possible that the mix part took that out of him. I'll just call him my cute little mutt!

For almost 14 years I had my blue merle collie, Felix. He was my joy and when I had to give him up, it tore me up. I had my ratties and they provided a lot of comfort but I'd pretty much decided no more dogs for me. My eldest son has a mutt that I found abandoned on the side of the road and his younger brother has a sable and white shetland sheepdog (min. collie). It was during rattie supply shopping that my lhasa apso, Binky, came into my life. She's going on five years old and is a blessing to me....picks me up, makes me smile, makes me wanna cuddle her all of the time. Here's a new pic of her at the foot of my son!

I have two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and one Shih Tzu. All my pictures take work because they are too big to get on the board!

Well, I can brag about how my Sasha barked for an hour this a.m. because I wouldn't let the cat in, but I wasn't especially proud of her. Or I could brag about Tibby's ear infection that stinks and Bubba automatically scratches her ears which makes her itch which makes her scratch which makes it stink more (I'm treating it). Or I could brag about Wallis's canny ability to sniff out a fresh pile of cat poop and get started eating it before I can get her out of it - can't tell you how many times I've dunked that dog's head in the pool and rinsed out her mouth!

When they do something really worthy I will brag.
