Your Cosmo is gorgeous! I don't have a Sheltie but one day I will! It's the one purebreed I just have to have. Right now though I'm into big dogs! I'll have to watch this thread to see pics of the shelties!

Shelties

We currently have 5 shelties, 4 females and 1 male. One of the girls is the mother of the boy and one of the girls. Different litters but same fathers. Our oldest is 14 and has arthritis which sometimes makes her a bit immobile. The next one is 12, then the mother of the other two is 11. The boy is 9 and the last but not least is 7.

We have a two Sables, 1 Tri (the old girl), one bi-black and the male is Bi Blue.

They are very smart and are always reminding us that at 8 pm each night it is time for a treat. They bark and bug until you actually get up and get the treat for them.

Here are a couple of pictures.

Sheltie Habits

We had a blue merle that we had brought up from the states to use for breeding and we loved her so much we kept her. For our Daughters 13th birthday we gave her the gift of this beautiful girl. She used to lie on the boot tray at the front door waiting for our daughter to come home and every time she decided to get up, she would make a noise moving the tray and the other girls would just go crazy barking up a storm thinking someone was coming in the house. When everyone else stopped barking she realized that they were barking at someone coming in and then she would start to bark which would get everyone barking again. Unfortunately she went to play on the Rainbow Bridge a couple of years ago after battling breast cancer. We really miss her dearly. Here is a picture of her.
