Would you foster knowing you'd likely fail

What is worse than trying to adopt out a black pit?

So mom's neighbor's house got raided by animal control and they took out a bunch of pit bull puppies. They took out a black male and...guh I have a thing for black dogs and husband has a thing for pits.

This whole ordeal has truly touched me seeing as it took a lot of guts for my family to finally call (bad neighborhood) and all that jazz. Even though the parents were starved of attention and food since forever and even hit, they never became mean. I wanted to foster just cause but oh man...I don't know how I'd feel about failing again.

you will only fail if you set yourself up for failure. if you believe you have the funds time and patience to give him a home even if its just fostering then do it.

Failing for fosters is keeping it hehe. So don't get attached and you need to find out if you can even foster it. It will be harder if the neighbors recognize the dog.

I think you should do it. You do not know if you will fail. And you might kick yourself for not trying.
