You're on hidden camera!!

lol Have you ever recorded your dog while you are gone? That's what me and Shannon did two different days. We watched what Claire sleep, play with toys, and bark at her toys too, lol. She got up on the coffee table, knocked off the remote, then layed down to take a quick nap in the sunlight, lol. She would bark at her toys at first, then she went to sleep. She was squeaking her corn cob man and it was so cute, it is really funny to see her cock her head to the side wondering who is that dog on TV. She had a fit when she heard herself bark on there, she would bark, then walk away to see if there was another dog here just in case, lol. I just find it so neat to see what she does while I am not around. Anyone else done this before? :rollsmile

That is so cute! I want to do that but we don't have a video camera or anything.

Now that's funny!!

Actually I thought about video taping Cookie. My reason is because I don't think she eats or drinks while we are gone, just waits on the couch for us. I could be wrong though, she might be throwing a big party!

I think I'm going to try it sometime.

Becki, I am glad that Shannon has a camera, I still don't have one. I was happy to film her, helps me see what to expect when she stays at the apartment. lol

Masterjack, I like the idea, it is helpful in seeing what they do. I bet she does throw a part while you are away, lol!

Laurie - Cookie probably does throw big parties, and invites all the neighborhood dogs over! Have you noticed missing snack food or dog biscuits lately?

Wow- what a neat idea - to tape the critters while you are gone then watch and see what they do! I'll bet you were laughing pretty hard watching Claire's antics!

I think if I'd done such a thing in the boy's "pre-crate" days. it would have scared me to death. Coming home to the aftermath was frightening enough !!

lol Yeah Sharon, I bet that was, hehe!

Deja, it is so funny to see. Claire let out one good howl/bark and then she started to run from the kitchen to the living room where the camera was. You could hear her running, lol, she did this like five times then on the last run she went by and tackled her toy moose, lol!!! It was soooo cute! Like Claire, warrior doxie, lol!

Soapaddict had been talking about doing this if she kept Cookie. Wanted to see if she was crying all day or not.

We've thought of doing that too! I would love to watch Toby (bird) and see what he does.

I bet it was a riot watching your dog. Crazy little things, aren't they?

Another funny thing she did was go to sleep on the foot stool in the sun. She turned onto her side, then went to sleep more for a while. Then she feel off the side, lol! She even stayed asleep, lazy doggie, it was so cute, when she did get up, she shook off like woah! what happened? lol

We used to leave Harlie out of her crate, because she seemed like she only slept when we were gone, until one day we came home to my slippers stuffing all over the living room...haha...we decided it would just be best to crate her, at least safer. Max has never been trusted...haha! I do wonder though, if they just sleep in their crates, or if they bark at eachother, or at least play with their toys or something. (Different crates, same room.) Sadly they probably just sleep.

If I still had Cookie, I would've bought a webcam and set it up to see her from work.

We did videotape our other dogs (while we were there and when I lived with my ex) and when we played the video back, they were all SO confused. They would run around barking because they thought there were other dogs in the house.

Claire sounds like she's having a blast when you're not there. She sounds so cute. Her barking at her toys, I could just imagine her doing that... made me giggle. One day you'll have to share some of those video clips with us! Would love to see them.
