baby RES turtles

Hi, my name is Garrett.
I googled 'turtle myryle beach' and came up with this site.
I have bought three turtle in MB, the little red ear slider turtles.
i love them.
the first i bought was in 99 and I still have it. I've lost (died) the other two - one fell outof a box while we were cleaning the tank and two days later it died. the other got stuck in the tank and drowned. sucked.

Im planning on going to myrtle Friday to buy another one
but Im seeing on here that many people have them, do you sell the babies?
i red one thread where people were talkingabout the MB turtles were bad etc etc etc - do you offer them for sale? what about actual pet stores?

Im buying one this week, would rather buy from someone that knows the animals well vs a random novelty store.

we have a 50 gallon aquarium with a basking area and take care of our little friends.

my email address is
garrett DOT ray DOT owens AT gmail DOT com
take out all spaces and exchange DOT with a '.' as well as changing "AT" with '@'

my cell is

please call me or email if you have one. phone is better cause i always have that on me vs email is not always up.

looking to make a trek on Friday to buy.
doesnt have to by myrtle, but id like to not drive more than 4 hours, im located in the center of NC.

I think that turtles have to be 4 inches to sell, but that may just be in iowa

That is a US federal law, but is rarely enforced.

I personally would never breed, sell, or buy red-eared sliders - and generally try to discourage others from doing so as well. They're a dime a dozen, by far the most common species of turtle that ends up dumped in reptile rescues, and probably the second most dumped reptile. Green iguanas being the first. Mainly, because people don't know what they're getting into, and are unable to provide proper care. Especially at adult size. Anyway, I have no interest in preaching, to each their own, just thought I'd mention it. Good luck in finding some new friends.

Oh, and you might not want to give out your cell phone on public forums... you never know who might be reading.
