Question Our Turtle is Sick... ??

Hi, Our turtle stopped eating and pooping about around 3 days ago

h*ttp://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d137/miocai/Leeloo.png
*remove the asterisk, can't post links T_T

She was a gift from my mother's friend and she came along with an aquarium with a coral-like flat stone inside and a cup of feeds

We're not exactly knowledgeable about pets so I really don't care much about her at first aside from feeding her and cleaning her tank when she poops (ginormously)

she was eating properly and vigorously before and we enjoy watching her chomp down her food

but now, she just stays on her rock, looking like she's about to melt (her head and limbs are totally outside her shell)

she barely swims nor raise her head like before

she's not eating nor pooping and I'm really worried...

her eyes are pale and white, like dead skin

we live in a tropic country so its normally hot/warm but the temperature dropped the last few days due to rain

not too cold though, prolly not below 20 degrees celsius

I would like to ask first if this is normal or am I just worrying too much before we go to a vet...

what size tank? what are the temps? do you have a UVB light? what is the basking point? Turtles need to get warm enough to digest their food, if they arent their bodies don't digest and food rots inside them.

I'm reading on Red Sliders and am learning more about them

I'm putting her under the sun...

she's completely motionless, when I lift her up she barely nudged

before she normally withdraws, but now she's completely in deep

like she's hibernating or something T_T

is she going to die??

Yes take her to a vet.Even if you don't care for her like you said, you took her into your home and now you are responsible for her life. Good luck, I hope she's ok.

She definitely does need a vet...RiGHT Now.
How big is this turtle?
Please understand they need a lot of room,& proper UVA/UVB.
& Filtration.& They do N0T live off "turtle pellets".
I have 2 turtles, which live together in a large aquarium now,& they need much bigger.
I'm going to make an indoor pond.I do not just feed my turtles "turtle pellets" --thats a definite no no.

Please research this species. They're worth all the consideration in the world.
They make great pets, for those who are willing to care for them correctly.
Take your turtle to the vet, look after him/her right& you'll see the benefits of owning the "little" guy. (btw, they can grow the size of a dinner plate & I saw slightly bigger! )

Yeah my two don't seem to be growing bigger either <.< they didn't grow much since I had them, thought when I got them in a proper set up [they were in a horrid small rubbermaid, not big enough even for one...think one of the smallest you could get] when I recieved them. But my friend Fred had a massive one...!! That jolly green was HUGEEEE. Bigger than a plate even.& He ended up giving him away, didn't know I wanted him .
