Question Average Lifespan of your frogs??!!

Out of all of the frogs you have owned (either ACF or ADF) what has been their average life span? Any tips or tricks to prolong their lives?

I haven't heard of any African Dwarf Frogs living longer than 5 years and most live 2-3 years. With so many frogs being in poor condition initially (because of the way they're being sold now), though, I'd imagine that the lifespan can be shorter .

Until now I've never had ACF's. One of my guys JUST started getting all the black around his "hands" and arms. How old does that make him?

My African Clawed frogs are going on 4 years old. The college that I use to go to had a pair of ACF's that where 12 years old. The clawed frogs can supposedly live 15 - 20 + years in captivity.

Ive had Squishy for about 4 years I think, and he looked like he was about 2 years old when I get him... So hes probably around 6 years old.

Ive heard 15+ years for ACF.
I had really bad luck with ADF, and mine never lived more than a few weeks, even if my water tested fine.

I asked before, but how old is my Haus if he is just starting to get the black all around his hands and arms? It's like he just reaches puberty! How old does that make him?
