Question Siriya needs a friend! Help!

Does anyone have a recommendation for a reputable ADF breeder? My little girl, Siriya, is extremely healthy & happy, but she has a whole 18 gallon tank to herself! I refuse to purchase her sibling from a pet store like I did with her so I was wondering where I should go to purchase her a friend? Any website/price will do as long as they produce healthy, happy frogs!

Why is a local petstore worse than an anonymous website dealer?

It would seem to be less stressfull to the animal to take a car ride home, than an overnight air ride through some cargo facility in a box.

There are reputable pet stores out there. I live in a much smaller city than DC, and there is a store that sells locally, captive raised animals whenever possible.

Another good place to look would be a local Herp Club, or google for a Herp show near you. If someone there isn't a breeder, maybe they can hook you up with one.

Good Luck!
Bob

I second the idea to look for good pet stores in your area. If you'd prefer to buy online, maybe try LiveAquaria. They're reputable and all animals have a guarantee (the frog should have a 14-day guarantee). I've purchased from them on several occasions (never frogs, admittedly, but fish/plants/snails/coral/worms).

petco never works out

I looked around for smaller for reputable pet stores and there are only two in the area and none carry ACF's. I really don't trust large chains AT ALL. We have tried and ALL but one survived. I just want a healthy, happy frog,

Do you have any small fish specialty stores? Thats where I got my ACF... Someone brought him back there because they didnt want him There are a few really good fish stores near me.

Have you checked on CL? Ive actually seen alot of ACF and ADF needing homes on there! I saw 4 ADF for adoption just today.

They're not common enough pets that you'll find them that easily. Just keep looking every day, they do pop up.
