Yay the deformed froggie ate!!
I'm way to excited over this, lol.
The 4 froggers I raised are doing well. I gave 3 of them to my brother, including the one that gets bloat, and he set up an awesome 55 gal tank for them. I still keep an eye on the bloated one though, in case he gets it bad again and needs some fluid removed.
Anyways, I kept the one that has both it's front legs deformed because I wasn't sure if he was going to make it - he really wasn't eating. Everyone I talked to told me I should hand feed him - but everytime I got near him with the forceps holding the food, he would freak out and swim away. He wasn't eating on his own because they use their front legs to help them feed - so he was getting really skinny and I really thought he was going to die. Well I didn't give up trying to hand feed anyways, and this morning, for the first time, he took bloodworms from the forceps!
I'm so happy I finally got some food into him! I really hope he continues to feed because then he should be ok
