Dogs and cat abandoned in house for weeks.. ****GRAPHIC IMAGE****

This is what people are made of. It's SO sad, one dog chewed itself off its leash and they suspect it's still alive because it ate the cat. Chained to a wall and an appliance?!?!?!? Obviously they were 'preparing' for the inevitable. Jerks, there is no words to describe the monsters that did this. And I hope they get theirs....

I seen this on the news earlier.
People are idiots. They said on the news the cat's dead body was found after,so the dog never ate it.
They also showed a picture of the dead dog on the news.

So I just read the link and thats the picture they showed on the news.... As Debbie (from SPCA) was saying there is no excuse. If they couldn't take care of the animals for whatever reason or didn't want to,they could of surrendered them or dropped them off to the SPCA instead of neglecting them so badly!

OMG! I hope they get a bad punishment.....but they will most likely not, it's so sad only a few cases of animal abuse ever get justice.

Im so sick of animal cruelty! Its just so wrong! So many abusers are let off the hook because there was "no evidence of criminal intent" and this will just be another! Justice needs to be done for these animals! Its absolutley disgusting!

That's so sad. I never understand how people can treat animals like that.

I learned today that it wasn't the owners!
The man that owned them had to go out of town and PAID someone to look after his pets. This person is the one who neglected the animals. The owner is devastated and very upset...

It is pretty sad when you rely on someone to look after your pets when your away and they cannot even do the job right!

Ahh no! If the person knew they wouldn't be able to hnadle looking after the animals they should have just been honest.

Someone was telling me they work with someone from Dunville who knows buddy and yea, apparently it was a caregiver :/ The owner of the animals should be held responsible IMO but charges should also be laid on the guilty. A few weeks and the owner didnt check up on the dogs?? That's suspicious for the grieving he's supposedly recovering from.

The sitter could have lied when the owner checked up on his pets.

Good call. I'd like to see an interview with the owner myself so I can make my own judgement, I guess I'm half intelligent on boy language for lying and uncomfortable-ness and things like that.

Since this thread was brought back up,I just will update.
Turns out it WAS the owner who did this.He lied and got his girlfriend to cover for him and they said that they had a "caregiver" and blamed it all on this "caregiver".

The remaining and surviving dog has since been adopted.
