Yes i know pine and cedar are bad for them. We use a combination of newspaper on the bottom then absorbing pellets over top.

I did think ear infeciton aswell so i picked her up and felt her ears, even gently blew in them and she didn't squeal or pull back.

I go by every 30 days, so once a month a female will give birth. I've found the higher the temperature in your tank, the faster the fry develope inside and therefor the shorter the gestation period.

Actually my family dog used to eat our cats poo too. I'm not sure why but i know it's not uncommon. Rats will consume their own poo too but very secretively.
