My friends degu is basicaly living on critical care at this point (hes getting old and has teeth problems) and we were wondering if there were any extracts or oils (like baking ingrediant oils) that could be added to it to get him to eat more??

Dear all. My oldest degu is getting weaker and weaker. I am going to the vet today to get "Critical care". Please does anybody have a "happy story" or gotten their pet well due to Critical care? He has lost lots of weight and needs heat constantly, lying next to the oven or under my sweater.
