robo dwarf hamster

I am thinking of getting a robo, I am curious about what their is to learn about them. First of all, what age do they live to? What is their temperament like? Do they like being in pairs or by themselves? Any help would be appreciated!!!!!!!! :)

Is it necessary to remove the father from the cage after the babies have been born? I heard that with this breed, you don't have to. I know they can begin breeding again immediately after.
