Leopard gecko would be cool in there or anoles if you just want something to watch
Crested or garoyle geckos would be neat!
If it's a "breeder", you could keep a uromastyx or something in there too.
Iv decided to post on kijiji or usedottawa and trade my 30 gallon for a small beta tank instead makes life so much easier, since we wont have a ton of space at the new place

Just go for a 5-gallon minimum (10 gallons being much easier to maintain). You probably know that already but I figured I'd mention it anyway :). Since a lot of tanks labeled for bettas are quite small.

How many gallons does it hold? Try measuring it, there are online calculators :).

It's definitely not too big (no tank is going to be "too big" for a betta--they live in rice paddies that can stretch for miles), though. If anything, it's too small.
its a 5 gallon
That would be fine for a single betta then, yup :). You'll want some sort of cover, though, bettas are jumpers. If there's no hood (is this one of those new Fluval tanks?), you can use netting or egg crate to make a cover.

I haven't used it but a lot of reef aquarists do. Try searching on Google, you should get lots of info :).
thanks for your help:)
Awesome! I've always thought those tanks were adorable!

yah i think its a water fall
Just be careful of current bettas fins make it hard for them to swim with a current. Also you can just get mesh and lay it over the tank or buy plexiglass cut it to size and drill it :) nice look and safe for your betta buddy
so as i said before i put an ad up to trade my tank for a smaller one so i got an email from a guy who wanted to buy my tank i wasnt against the idea until he offered me 10 bucks i said no its worth ALOT more then that, so he offered me 25 ,if i add in the 2 uv lamps and the thermometer & humidity gauges ...... I was like no deal its a 30 gallon reptile tank to start with it alone is an expensive tank yet alone with the lamps and everything would csot alot more. so his arguement to that was but its used...... its like im not asking the orginal brand new price for it but im sure not gonna sell it for $25
What a rip off, you can get at least $50 for a 30 gal with heat & UV lamps, therms, ect. I just sold a 10 gal with some accessories for $25 LOL.
Good you didn't sell it to him.
