Hi my name is sam and i have 6 gliders 3 in two cages and only one male. recently one of the females has been sluggish and losing weight. i cant get her to eat or drink. i know its starting winter months but they are kept in my bedroom at room temp. any advice on wht could be wrong?

While the sluggishness could be due to the change in the weather - I would suggest that you take your glider to vet because of the weight lose... a glider is small to begin with an cannot afford loose to much weight with out it causing health problems or worse yet death.

Please keep us posted to how your little one is doing.

i took her to the vet and she had nuralogical damage to the left side of her brain she started going into cardiac arrest while there so i made the decision to have her uthanised. i didnt want her to suffer anymore. it was a very hard choice on my part
