I'm getting my new pd tomorrow and can hardly contain myself :confetti: I'll post pics if she stays still long enough :D
I bought Kaytee Timothy Complete for the main staple. It's in pellet form and says it's chinchilla food. To me, it makes sense to get that but I wanted to know what you guys  thought about it.
Thanks!

Kaytee products in general are just terrible quality. I would recommend getting Oxbow's Prairie Delight, which is actually made for prairie dogs.

Some places still have stock, but I think Oxbow stopped making Prairie Delight.

Check Brisky .com they sell Prairie Dog food and treats.
My first PD lived to be 11 1/2 years old with a diet from Brisky.
That is the main diet for my 2 new little ones.
