So my female gerbil just had five pups and I HAVE to get a rid of them. I'm going to try to give them to pet stores and craigslist and petfinder. Any more ideas?

Also, After 5 weeks when I seperate the male and females, can I still tell who's a male or do I have to remember when I find out when they are about 11 days old?

(If you live in the area of Lakeland, Florida and want gerbils. Tell meee.)

Gerbil pups must stay with their parents for 7 to 8 weeks; 5 weeks is way too early to separate them from their parents. You won't have to worry about the pups breeding, because they will not be sexually mature. At 7 to 8 weeks you can remove the pups and separate them then.
As far as sexing, its pretty easy to tell who's male and who's female at any age.
