yes rats can definitely have hiccups and as long as it is mostly silent you should be fine. If you start to hear chirps and noises you may be looking at an impending URI

i have 6 awesome rats 4 girs 2 boys and this might be a goofy question,, but can rats get the hiccups?? sometimes i see them "jerking" like we do when we have the hiccups any feedback will be helpful.
