Sounds like worms. Sorry no other way to put that. Best bet would be to take him to the vet. Depending on the severity of fleas, it could be tricky deworming unless you go the holistic route.
Do you know,Nature's Way Insect Spray is an all natural effective insect spray for natural flea, tick, mosquito, and insect control that is safe for use on people, children, pets, and surroundings. As I always used this spray for my dog brutely now he look neat and clean without any flea and not have any itching problem as well to him.

These are tape worm segments. Cats get tapeworm from ingesting fleas when they bite at them.

You need a specific de-wormer for tape worm, it is called droncit. If your cat goes outside, she may also have roundworm and hookworm.in which case you will need drontal. Your best bet is to take your kitty to the vet and get the proper dose of drontal. This covers all three worms.

There is also a topical now available called profender. This goes on the back of the neck like flea treatments. It will kill roundworm, hookworm and tapeworm for one month.

If your cat goes out regularly you may want to consider using profender. And of course a safe monthly flea treatment such as frontline plus, advantage or revolution.

All these can be provided to you by your vet. Please do not use over the counter products. They do not work and they are not safe.
Take her to the vet immediately. The same thing happened to my old Tabby, he had ingested a flea when he got out and the worms started. Make sure she is using a separate litter box if you have any other cats.

Worms are pretty easy to clear up, but the fleas are a bit more taxing, ask your vet the best method of control, and try to monitor your kitty if she is let outside.

Best Wishes!
clean all the bedding etc as well. Have to use the prescription to work. At a low cost clinic it is usually only $5 or $10.
Hi there kiskismom
I would suggest you go to the vet in order to get rid of tape worms because the can cause some pretty ugly cysts which can be damaging to your cats health.

Afterwards i would start a flea treatment i suggest that you ask your vet for the best spot on product in order to kill the grown fleas.
You should atleast treat your pet with spot-on for 3 months as it takes 3-6 months, because of the biology of fleas, to get completely rid of fleas if you have a bad infestation.

Afterwards treat your house by doing regular vacuuming and cleaning and a daily cleaning of your pets bed. Remember to throw out the vacuum bag immidiatly after vacuuming. You can also use a natural pest spray such a biospotix in spray your house along with the cleaning. Take note that grown fleas are only a small part, pupae, larvae and eggs will be found in your home especially in cracks/dark places/fluffy furniture.
Get a flea collar and put it in your vacuum, you can spray flea spray into the cracks and just clean really well often.

Help????

There is A LOT of yellow goo coming out of my kittens eye!!! What should I do? Is it normal? Is it serious? its mostly from his left eye.. we found him today and he is very small he looks about 5-6 wks old... i don't know if he's gonna be ok..?.. As many answers and suggestions as possible please???
The Worms are from eating Fleas!

The fleas are laying eggs in your cats intestines, the worms are the larvae that have hatched. Profender is a fantastic topical and kills all internal parasites, you cam only get it from your veterinarian. Please do NOT trust over the counter de-wormers, they can be dangerous to your pet!
Good Luck
Thanks for all, you give me very useful info about cat problem
