Cold Water

The following do great in coldwater/subtropical set-ups:

White cloud minnows, zebra danios, rosy red minnows, rosy barbs, hillstream loaches, freshwater blennies, weather loaches, golden barbs, green barbs, mosquitofish, paradise gouramis, platies, and sunfish.

All would work in that size tank although not all together, ha. The paradise gourami in particular is rather territorial...but also pretty .

Thank you! I don't think I have seen any Paradise Gourami's around here, Unfortunately we do not have a marine specialist store so I am forced to buy via pet store.

Paradise Gouramis are sold at PetsMart so try there if you have one . They used to be really common but now I don't see them quite as much since people more favor bettas.
