Oh, I really wanted to see this special girl flourish and have some more time with you Spaz, I am so very sorry. 
Dashi WAS very special and indeed an honorary rat in every sense of the word. She was a heart tugger the first time I saw her pictures and I really hoped she would be around for a long time to come.
Her spiky multi-colored fur was just so endearing and she looked SO happy in her pictures. I know she was very happy because she was saved and in a wonderful, safe and happy home with you. I guess I have to be grateful for the wonderful and content time she DID have with you, yes?
Dashi was just beautiful, inside and out. I miss her already and I am very sad. Trying to be happy for her that she is running and playing with lots of friends at the Bridge, but still sad that she is not here to grace us all with her presence, even in photos.
