Hi,

My rescued degu has a teeth problem. One of his teeth, the root shot up and it's poking his eye, which is half closed and always watery.

I'm wondering if anyone have any experience of this issue. I'm thinking of having him to go on a surgery to pull his problematic tooth out. But I'm not quite sure whether it is the way to go. Since they get stressed out pretty easily. Last time I took him to the vet for some teeth grinding, he got upset and bit his hand to bleeding.

Please help. Any suggestion are welcome.

The vet might be able to clip it (as opposed to surgery). Either way, you're going to need to get him to the vet. Good luck!
