I have been searching everywhere for degus in Texas. I plan on getting them next Fall. I was wondering if anyone knew of a person who breeds them? Or even a store where I could go and view them. (I am usually suspicious of pet stores and how they tend their animals)

I'm open to adopting a pair if young. Of course, I will do that closer to next August.

If anyone can help, that would be wonderful.

I did attempt to use petfinders but there were none in Texas.

I'm in the Dallas area and I would love a list of some exotic pet stores you mentioned.
