I have been looking for the best diet for my hammies As the Russian Campbells ( which are what mine are) Winter Whites and Chinese hamsters are all diabetes prone so you have to be careful as to what you feed. I found this food no added sugar it is a GREAT food commonly recommended for syrians however its never been brought up that its diabetes friendly

Hey I saw that Oxbow stuff at my exotic vet, and i looked at it, and you are right, no added sugar. I wonder why no one ever mentioned it? Or maybe they have, but it's super hard to find?

I have No idea even if it's hard to find usually they bring up that it's a good food and it is hard to find and pricey but for someone like you or I it's worth it I am going to order some when I order the rats oxbow

I wouldn't feed it alone (I'd definitely be adding some whole insects, eggs, etc.) but it looks like a fine staple. I personally don't feed foods with synthetic vitamin K, though, especially tiny rodents. I don't know if it can be avoided in rodent food, though...

No you never feed one diet alone this would just be the base and sadly no it cant be avoided.
