Im thinking of turning the spare plastic tank i have into a dig box for ickis and albi and just put them in it for a little bit a few times a week when they start trying to dig through the papertowel in their tank XD what do you think i shold put in it? i was thinking that vita sand where they wont be living in it or eating on it so i dont think theyll endup swallowing a bunch and getting sick =/

Sterilsed soil is best....mix it with some peat moss for a lighter mix....cheap, safe, natural.

I have a dig box with alfalfa pellets for my beardie. IDK about leos, but for beardies alfalfa is very digestable. You just have to make sure it doesn't get wet, because it molds easily.
