Emmas constantly wanting to be in cages is getting to be a real problem ... She will jump in the hamster cages COMPLETELY ignore the hamster and start eating all their food. The hamster doesnt know she doesnt want them and on top of that she does it when there is no food or pet in the cage I dont understand it. Obviously I do not trust my cat with my hamsters I have put them to where she can not get them until they are moved into their new cage. my only other problem is .... Kodi's cage currently doesnt have a topper and he is in our bedroom and Emma sleeps with me every night. I just tell emma to get out of his cage and she immediately does but until I get the topper what can I do? It shipped last night and will be here next week. Emma will cry all night if we dont let her sleep with us. And with her healing from her spay I do not want her away from me all night.

But for now this is his cage .... Its FAR too big for any of our shelves and Hardware cloth cuts me to shreds :( Otherwise it would be a great option.

Maybe temporarily move Kodi to a smaller cage that you can put up? He won't have to be there too long and it's better than possibly getting injured.

Well right now he is taking care of it on his own he will not go on the bottom its more a matter of how to get her to stop climbing into cages.

With a behavior like that it's more about management than training. There's no surefire way to stop her short of preventing it from happening in the first place.

Well next week the topper will be here so we just have to make it through 1 week. Luckily she does not at all seem interested in the hams she is terrified of Kodi. Its their food she wants little odd ball. I will just contain him in the upper level until the topper is here

I know it doesnt make sense ... She wouldnt even eat any other cat food. She jumped in Nami's cage Nami was behind her yelling her head off and Emma just ignored her ... She is just ... Unique
