Eye Problem???

Theo is my chinchilla! He is about two and the sweetest little guy. He has recently had severe eye discharge and one of his eyes has a red eyelid. What is going on? Could someone help???? Thanks!!!

I think you should bring him to the vet ASAP

I have been monitoring his eye, and it seems that he has gotten better! Just a little irritation from what I have discovered! Thank you!

could it be an allergic reaction to his bedding maybe just a thought

Yeah, everything got cleaned out and new bedding. That was probably the culprit! He is so much happier!
