Ferret + Siberian Husky = ?

I have a curious question...

Would it be safe getting a Ferret kit and a Siberian Husky pup and raising them together? Would they bond and be friends? Would they fight or one possibly end up dead?

I am curious cause I love Ferrets and Siberian Huskies also I want to raise them both from childhood to adulthood...

I am just mainly curious if they will bond. Cause a dog and a Lion (or some Feral cat) was able to bond from childhood why not Ferrets and Siberian Huskies?

id never leave them alone together
they might play together but Id be very careful as

1 the dogs much larger then the ferret and the ferret could accidently get stepped on .

2. dogs have natural pray drives.

3. ferrets do really well in a group with other Ferrets so the best companion would be another ferret for the ferret not a difference type of animal.

it would sort of be like putting a ferret and a rat together, they both don't match up well unfortunately. but thats not to say you cant have ferrets and huskies and not have a happy home :) you could raise both.

I know I would never leave them alone together. That would be stupid!
But I have seen videos of people who had ferrets and huskies together but they're husky was calm.
I have a chiweenie that I rasied with rats, guinea pigs and gerbils and she does great with them :) and it's in both of her mixes to kill rodents

on the other hand I have a aussie lab mix who killed a few of my rats and he also grew up with them and is 9 years older then the chiweenie so i'd say see how it goes and judge for yourself

good luck :)
I think that if the animals are raised together from a young age there should be no problems. Our dogs and our cat get along very well with our rats and even play together. Nobody ever tries to eat anyone. I have on many occasions fallen asleep with a rat and the cat curled up beside me together.

I saw on Animal Planet a lion cub that grew up with a ferret and played gently with it.
It could work or it could end badly, there is really no telling how the dog will react or how the ferret will react, and it could go well and one day end badly. There are no garentees.
Really depends on your dog's personality.
