i have a 200 litre tropical tank filled with various fish i noticed one of the platties was hanging around the bottom looking sad then i saw that her eye was fluffy looking and so i went to the petshop and got some blue stuff "malachite green" and treated the tank water.
what i need to know is this: will it harm my clown loach i have been told it won't but what has been others experience with this product and has it helped?
thanks

There's not much you can do now but yeah, it isn't good for your loach :(. When treating a tank with scaleless fish you should only use half the recommended dosage.

Also, I would test the water (namely ammonia and nitrates) to make sure all parameters are normal since that could've caused the illness in the first place. Keep up on water changes too and remember to remove any activated carbon from your filter.

Good luck! Do lots of water changes...it'll really help.
