I decided to put this here so it was all in one post.

This is a coupon for free Advantage for dogs and cats. You can get a tube from a participating vet. I haven't tried it yet but I think I'm going to call around to find a participating vet. It says no purchase necessary so I don't think an appointment is needed.

As a side note, I found these on a free sample site called www.mysavings.com so they probably are legit. I have gotten many free samples from this site before. (if you do decide to use it for the samples, make a "junk" email because you sure will get junk!)

Last year for the first time ever, my rabbits got rabbit ticks. Advantix K9 is the same ingredients as Advantage except it includes Permethrin. Permethrin is also sold as "Poultry Dust" and is safe to use on rabbits. I Have used Poultry Dust on my rabbits, but have not tried Advantix yet. According to my vet, Advantix is safe to use on rabbits. One site on rabbits recommended 1 drop of Advantage per pound of rabbit. I would imagine it would be the same for Advantix K9. Be sure to lightly shake the tube or rock it back and fourth a couple of time because those meds sometimes seperate, my vet advised. I hope this helps. I have no idea if it would be safe to use on other small animals, and I would not use it on cats.
